Poem ' you do welcome ' by PrabhuDayal Khattar
Oh God
when I was a young child,
my mother used to instigate me
by prompting me to keep trust in you,
I was just a simple child
not versed with the reality of yours,
I used to keep faith in you
by just beaming and beholding to your images,
when I became, grown- up man
I discovered that customarily I keep in faith in you
though, not sensitive of your existence
just bowing my head to your theories,
and by today
when I am at the last stage of my life
I am not sure that I grasp you
and even today I just grin and bow my head
to your metaphors,
now my query to you is that
do you love and bless me
only because I keep trust in you
with a conviction that you do welcome my honor
which I offer to you in my inexact manners
Oh God...
